In response to the problem of short use time of existing materials and small blocks used in CDQ lining bricks, TK han introduced Russia’s advanced block-technical manufacturing concept for dry quenching coke ovens, which has been digested and absorbed for many years, researched and tested, and developed. TK has developed a new type of dry process that combines the major problems of conventional lining refractory bricks, such as cracks, falling bricks, and collapses where ramps and circular air ducts are prone to occur. Quenching furnace lining brick material ratio, large block brick structure design and brick making process. The brick has good thermal shock resistance and wear resistance, can extend the service life of the dry quenching furnace, and reduce the frequency of shutdown and repair of the dry quenching furnace.The new type of dry quenching furnace lining brick uses composite wear-resisting material and large-scale structural design to enhance the impact resistance and thermal shock resistance of the inner lining brick, and effectively solves the problems existing in the inner lining brick of the dry quenching coke oven. Extend its service life by 5-10 years. This product is used to replace the old dry quenching furnace lining products which have only a life of more than one year. It is the first production in China.

The product has been used on the CDQ furnace at Sanming Steel Works in 2014. It has been used for many years now and no problems have arisen. This has already created a direct production benefit of more than RMB 20 million due to the refurbishment of lining.

On February 18th, 2017, the Group organized the “CDQ Lining Reformation Special Exchange Conference” co-organized with the China Coking Industry Association in Beijing. The new CDQ quenching technology has entered the stage of project promotion through various efforts.
